WHAT SATISTFIED MPG 500W MINI PORTABLE ELECTRIC HEATER
OWNERS HAVE TO SAY:
Safe, Quiet, and Powerful: The 500W Mini Heater That Exceeded Expectations
“I purchased this 500W Mini Portable Heater for my squaredrop trailer on camping trips, and it's been fantastic! The swivel plug design is super handy, as it rotates 180⁰ and locks securely, letting me adjust its position with ease. I tracked its power usage with a watt meter, and it’s incredibly energy-efficient. Initial power spikes are brief, maxing at 687W, but it quickly stabilizes to around 337W. This low-energy consumption keeps my setup safe and sustainable, especially in a smaller space.

The heater's adjustable temperature feature works like a charm, holding a steady temperature within 1-2⁰, which is ideal under my trailer's kitchen cabinet. When the heater reaches the set temperature or is powered down, the fan continues to run for 60 seconds, efficiently cooling down the element—a fantastic safety touch! It’s compact, quiet, and packs plenty of heat. Highly recommend it for anyone needing reliable warmth in a small space. It definitely exceeded my expectations!”

My home is 2400 Sq feet. I have a 100,000 btu/Hr furnace that keep the temperature properly. In this total area has a zone section to facilitate a 476 Sq ft addition when our garage was enclosed. Point being made is 1900 Sq foot / by 1900 Sq foot = 50 btu / Sq ft of home which keeps the house heated.

This unit claims is can heat a 350 Sq ft room and the commercials state this is done in a few minutes based on its NASA technology made in Chine. Comparing the btu/Sq foot comparing my house heater to this electric heater is the next useful piece of information. For those that aren’t aware, 1 KW produces 3,413 BTU/Hr. This heater is a 0.5 KW heater. Using the square footage claim on this web site “350” the amount of BTU/Sq ft being applied is 5.

I can report that the rest room in my insulated garage addition which is 6’ x 6’ with a 10’ ceiling will not increase in temperature over a 1 hour period. Building construction to provide more back up for curious consumer is as follows. Wall construction is a brick veneer, 8” concrete block wall with air gap between, 2x4 stud wall with 3.5” fiberglass insulation and a drywall covering. Ceiling is a lay in with acoustical panels and 6” of fiberglass insulation on top of it. A 5 x 12 pitch rafter attic, with an asphalt shingle on a 1 x 6 deck on rafters. Then 3/4” strip is on top of the shingles with a metal roof over that creating an additional air gap for more insulation. The attic vents are gable end only and have been enclosed with 13” gable vent fans which winter infiltration / cooling of the attic.

Apparently NASA eng Inuit can increase the heating potential of 500 watts even if itis for Tesla.

BEWARE of this product!!!! It also is starting to fan fan noise after very limited use / only below 32 deg days in memphis Tennessee. We are using it to heat the reset room for water l8ne protection on this type of day. Noticing the abilities of the heater and comparing it to advertising. Don’t be lead astray!!!

Easy to use

The unit needs a better plug to secure the unit. Three pronged plug would secure the unit better.
